Youth Exchange Project «Acceptance for Everyone: Non-discriminative Education for Youngsters»
On the 7th of May 2023,the second day of the project, the buzzing energy of the “NGO Market” session filled the air as enthusiastic participants showcased their sending organizations through captivating flipcharts. The afternoon was kicked off with an invigorating activity, “Fruit Salad”, which left everyone feeling refreshed and recharged.
The cultural evening continued as participants took to the stage, depicting typical stereotypes and discrimination-related situations in their own countries through riveting theatrical performances, grouped by nationality. The passion and fervor displayed by each performer were truly awe-inspiring.
As the sun set, the excitement only intensified with the arrival of the much-awaited Cultural Night. Ireland, Turkiye, and Hungary shone bright as they presented their unique history, language, and fascinating facts using dynamic PowerPoint presentations, engaging videos, and interactive Kahoot quizzes. The atmosphere was filled with joy and merriment as traditional dances were performed, leaving the audience captivated.
The highlight of the evening, without a doubt, was the tantalizing spread of food from the three countries. Mouth-watering sweets, delectable snacks, and scrumptious cookies left the participants satiated and satisfied.
In summary, the day was a true testament to the power of cultural exchange and the richness of diversity. It was a memorable experience, one that will undoubtedly stay etched in the minds of all those who participated.
